I love the 'find similar chart' feature which brings up different symbols that have the same pattern as the symbol of interest.
HOWEVER, I need more!
So my questions: is there ALSO any service out there (on SF or not) that finds the date range of similar chart patterns for the SAME given stock, in that same stock/symbol's own past history??
Basically want to be able to see how a given stock behaved, the previous time(s) it was itself charting in a particular way (say over minimum 3-6mos time span).
So, if for eg AMZN is in a 'cup with handle' pattern, when was the last time it was in a cup with handle?
Doesnt have to be matched to a 'namebrand' pattern, but the tool could match just by visual overlay as the SF tool does and find a close time period that matches. Am I hoping for too much?
