I picked up some TWM on the pull back after the gap up... at 19.15 I sold out at eod for 19.41 trying to figure out why we did not fall off the cliff... RUT clearly broke the lower trend line....had a nice volume pop then nothing...

Dollar getting crushed... that's pretty bullish so the two cancel each other out.....

Short dollar long stocks...

The strange thing is if we get a half descent report and the dollar bounces... will that be enough for stocks to break down?

This will be my last entry post due to apathy.
++++++++++++++++++++++++

Mesayah, probably not so much apathy as summer frenzy, with kids, vacations etc. I've noticed many of the boards are down.

Time to churn accounts right now. It will break hard 1 way or the other quickly.

buy: DMA > CMA
limit: high + .01
better to buy when low < cma

Fetcher[

symlist(psq,qqqq,tna,tza,fas,faz,tyh,typ,drn,drv,edc,edz)
draw dma(10,-5),10)
draw cma(DMA(10,-5),10)

add column cma(dma(10,-5),10)

close > 1
avgvol(22) > 123321

Four - question about DMA and CMA......

I noticed that the stockfetcher curve does not match data points for DMA and CMA. Maybe some smoothing occurs when stockfetcher creates the charts.

I've added a column for "dma(10,05),10)".

Fetcher[
symlist(psq,qqqq,tna,tza,fas,faz,tyh,typ,drn,drv,edc,edz)
draw dma(10,-5),10)
draw cma(DMA(10,-5),10)
add column cma(dma(10,-5),10)
add column dma(10,-5),10)
close > 1
avgvol(22) > 123321
]

Look at TZA data for 6/3/10.

Data points:
CMA = 35.48
DMA = 34.38

Looking at the curve, it appears that:
CMA ~ 36.2
DMA ~ 36.9

Looking at the chart, DMA is clearly above CMA...a buy signal. However, data points for 6/3/10 would state the opposite.

Hopefully you can explain.

Thanks.

DMA is new to me. The above seems to show some information and opinion. I do not have an answer.

Perhaps someone has some new information ?

Thanks.
