 @karennma
 Too bad I was too chicken to buy it.
 FEAR sux.
 ============================

 sandjco bought AMZN for $1,598 on Nov 1, 2018
 You may want to have a chat with sandjco and study sandjco's thread

 Fear is a strong emotion. We all have fears. But your fear today is different from your fear
 from a few days ago. Your fear today seems to be FOMO fear of missing out.
 If the real reason you froze was the size of risk.
 Someone in this forum once gave this advice: if we are afraid of buying 10 shares,
 would we buy just 1?

 TRO and riggs had some good posts In the early years on buying bottoms.

 The cmadma7 filter from you and Mac can also help you decide on AMZN.

 TheStockWhisperer has this trading advice: When in doubt, stay out.

 If we apply a couple of sandjco's indicators to AMZN, then we may get a chart like this

 TheStockWhisperer has this trading advice: When in doubt, stay out.
 THAT is exactly what I do!
 My problem is, I stay OUT at the bottom; I don't get in at the bottom. But frankly, who knows where the bottom is? I thought $1500 was the bottom on AMZN because there was a HUGE gap there.
 ( msg #145085 10/28/2018 1:39:56 PM BTW, AMZN has an unfilled gap around $1500 or so.)

 And that's exactly what happened.
 That AMZN option I posted was a "if I had the guts, here's what I'd do ..."
 Obviously, it would've paid off handsomely.
 I will continue to track it and ... feel bad.

 @ Cheese,
 THANKS for bringing the info in the archives to my attention.
 I've put the reversal filter w/ LR channels in the Public Filter List, so I don't forget it.

 @karennma

 I have many struggles with my trading, too..
 Each day many of us must choose between the pains of discipline
 and the pains of regret.

 We still have helpful people like Mac.
 In addition to cmadma, Mac has alerted us about the importance of ema(60) in Guppy's book

 @nibor100 EDs
 I've added some code showing when the ema(60) starts to move.
 To me Daryl Guppy lets the cat out of the bag in a round about way of saying
 the EMA(60) can show start of long term trend change.
 Page 147 and 148 of his trend trading book.
 Go back and look at any stock and compare
 where the first movement of the ema(60) is compared to a down trend converts to a up trend
