Well, that may be true, ...
but (as we've seen), the STOCK MARKET can be "turned on ‘like a spigot" via quant easing and repos.
I'm sure the President is thinking, "it'll be a cold day in hell before this market crashes on my watch".

I always thought the concept of "going to work" was stupid.
(Unless you're a construction worker ... or have some job where you physically must be there.)
